being from the country of Montenegro, I traveled to the city of Montenegro in Brazil, with the idea in mind of constructing an image, a story and a history, from the standpoint of my personal experience and knowledge of my home country.
I collected flowers from each place named Montenegro and combined them to create a new distinction of flora for the another conceptual place of ‘montenegro’.
the prints of flowers have been attached to an already existing reception desk, furniture piece designed by Fritz Haller, designer of systems. the desk was used as a bar during the opening of the exhibition.
