presentation and public conversation within the series of conversations Close Encounters, organized by Research Center of a.pass in the kitchen of artists’ studios in Manchesterstraat in Brussels, 2018.
together with Marcelo Rezende, we did an event A conversation-on-exhibition: three hours of public monologue, dialogue and at times conversation. together we exposed our problems with conventions in exhibition-making, he as a curator and director of the museum and me as an artist. in the form of storytelling, we brought in some historical examples of different artistic strategies for visibility, coming to the shared desire to shift the focus from exhibiting objects to creating spaces of collective learning through arts. this was audio-recorded and documented in the research portfolio.
